Mark your calendars for the ultimate Sunday Funday, all while showing your support for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Brielle Ale House is hosting its inaugural Run for Hope 5K & Fun Run to benefit The Ashley Lauren Foundation, a nonprofit based out of Spring Lake and serving all of New Jersey, which provides financial assistance, emotional support and many other programs to children and families suffering from the hardships of pediatric cancer, on Sunday, September 24, 2017.
All proceeds from this event will go to The Ashley Lauren Foundation. Participants will receive a t-shirt, a closed scenic course throughout Brielle, and access to an after party with their registration. After the race, there will be a ton of free family fun for participants at Brielle Ale House that includes face painting and bounce houses, a barbecue, drink tickets, a push-up/plank challenge, music, gift basket raffles, 50/50 and so much more!
Registration is from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Brielle Ale House, located at 601 Union Lane in Brielle; the 5K starts at 10:30 a.m. and the 1-Mile Walk/Fun Run (one-mile) at 10:45 a.m. (strollers welcome). The after party begins at 11:30 a.m. The cost is $35 per person, $20 for 12 and under, and kids 4 and under are FREE. Online registration ends September 21st, you must register by September 7th to be guaranteed a t-shirt.
