Faith, Peace and Trust.
If you have faith in the Lord and all of his promises, especially those of health and prosperity, peace will fill your heart. Trusting in God's word is as simple as believing in his promises to us. A woman who lives with peace in her heart can trust that her family will be taken care of always by the Lord. Is there a greater wish for a mother and wife?

A Mother's Love
There is no greater love than that between a mother and child. As soon as a woman finds out that there is life growing inside of her a bond, a connection, an eternal strength is embedded. When crisis occurs and someone or something threatens your child's health, safety, or security, a mother must use her in-bred intuition to guide her to protect her child. We must look for the strength to carry on when we feel like we are empty. We should all not only look to God for guidance and reassurance but also to those who are right next to us. Our family and friends, those who are there for us when we need them the most. Through this journey we have not only discovered the power of prayer and how truly believing can give you the power to heal, but also to look and lean on others for support. The world is filled with good, pure people who give of themselves just for the benefit of others. These are the people we need to surround ourselves with, not only in crisis but when we are fortunate. We have discovered the true meaning of "family" and "frienship". These are two words that are forever changed in our hearts. We will be forever grateful for all of the love we have in our lives now and vow to live each day helping others. Thank you God for blessing us with love in our lives and in our hearts. May the days ahead be filled with good health and true happiness.

A Daughter's Gift to the world...
In life..there are times we pray. When a child is diagnosed with a sickness we pray hard. When your daughter is diagnosed at 10 years old with Cancer you get on your knees, take out the Rosary and pray to the Saints, Angels and the Blessed Mother that you have grown up knowing ,loving and trusting in.
When I was around 31 and married around 6 years I prayed for something that I wanted so badly. I wanted to be a MOTHER. My body could not give me a full term child so my husband and I adopted, My son Andre was my first and my daughter Lilly would come 4 years later. Both of these children were specifically placed to my husband and I from Gods hands. They were not born of my flesh but of my heart .My life was full of laughter, love and blessings. Andre is a gifted student and musician. He has excelled at swimming, baseball and soccer but his gifts are truly not athletic but in his great sense of humor and intelligence.
Lilly on the other hand is a gifted athlete. She was the fastest runner in the school, a gifted dancer and an amazing soccer player. In the last 3 years she had overcome her shyness to become the most outgoing, spirited and friendly child in her school. There was not a child or adult that did not instantly love Lilly. Her smile was contagious and her laughter continuous. She had not been sick in 8 years. She had not been on an antibiotic since she was 2. So how and why did our Lilly get a bone cancer called Ewing's Sarcoma?? I call it winning the backwards lottery!! I know this is going to sound crazy but in watching my daughter through her cancer I now actually feel that she was chosen for this journey and so was I. There was no mistake in placing Lilly in my hands as a mother. She was born not in me but definitely for me.
She is an amazing child. She has touched so many lives through her LIVING with Cancer. She has taken her laughter and filled the halls of her school, hospital where she is treated and our home. She walks lively on her crutches, she plans for visits with friends, trips to the shore ,dinners with family, movie nights, visits with friends, shopping.
When in the hospital she looks for all the other kids .She invites them to play ,watch movies or do art projects. She can LIGHT up a dark hospital hallway with her laughter. She is God's gift not only to our family but for all who witness. her. She has been placed here to show her strength, her passion for life and her fearless journey through cancer.Lilly can watch another child and feel compassion. She can see a poor family and want to be generous. She can look at herself and feel lucky that she is not as sick as others. She has blossomed in her sickness to become a giving, spiritual, uplifting and creative child. Her talents have taken to paper now. She has become a creative artist. She has felt the healing of God not only on her body but in her mind.
Together Lilly and I have a special bond. She has revealed my God to me and to many others. In my heart I feel she will be a survivor for Lilly has alot of plans for the future. She has alot of gifts to give...but for now her gift to the world is to touch the hearts and souls of all who meet her. She has been chosen for this journey ...and we place this journey in the hands of God..
