Matthew, 25 - Commercial Insurance Agent

Matt has played tennis for 20 years, living most of his life residing near the Jersey Shore in Brielle NJ. He went to Rutgers University where he played division I tennis and was team captain for two years. He studied Exercise Science and Psychology. Matt enjoys going to the beach and the outdoors in the summer and winter sports such as skiing in the winter. He currently works in Wall, NJ as a Commercial Insurance agent. He loves music and enjoys going to concerts, sporting events, and contributing to anything involving competition. Matt is excited about participating in the Bachelor Auction and appreciates the opportunity to be a part of such a worthy cause.

Tom, 37 - Account Executive

Tom is currently employed by a leading automotive marketing firm. He is a big car nut so working in the automotive field is a great fit. Tom's other interests include home improvements and restorations. He is also into the new wave/goth music scene. During the summer Tom enjoys spending time at the Jersey Shore…boating and beaching. He is a big “foodie” as well, always up for checking out the hip new spots. Tom is looking for a down-to-earth girl that might share some of these common interests or is willing to expand her horizons, just as he is.

Jim, 35 - Real Estate Brokerage Owner

Jim resides in the Poconos in PA. He is a broker/owner of a real estate brokerage in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Prior to becoming a real estate agent, Jim was in the Marine Corps for ten years including service in the war in Iraq and with the Depatment of State. It was then that he found his love and excitement of traveling while serving in Europe, West Africa, Japan, and the Middle East. Jim is looking for someone who enjoys the same interests or someone who can show him some new ones. Jim considers himself to be a great conversationalist and a good listener who can be your best friend. He likes a good sense of humor and someone who is out-going with others.

Mike, 38 - Advertising Executive

Raised at the Jersey Shore, Mike developed a number of varied interests. He is a beach bum – if it’s warm and the sun is out, Mike is at the beach. He learned to race sailboats on the Navesink River and was on the sailing team in college. Mike grew up an avid outdoorsman, and continues to be one. He is a regular golfer. He has been a pilot since he was a teenager and thoroughly enjoys any time he can spend in the cockpit. In addition, Mike is a motorcycle enthusiast and spends quite a bit of time riding his Harley Davidson when the weather permits. Mike is not a big bar guy, preferring to spend quality time with friends and Mike is a patriot to the core. Mike is a genuine guy who works hard while trying to achieve a healthy balance in life. He would really like to find a down to earth, genuine girl, who understands that life is about making a special connection, not about material things.

Jason, 38 - Military Police Officer

At the tender age of 2, Jason first realized he was going to be on the move. His parents left the chilly winters of Chicago for the warm tropical climate of South Florida. While growing up, he frequented the nearby ocean and enjoyed all it had to offer. Being a beach bum most of his adolescent life, Jason decided to join the Navy at 19 and travel the globe working in the Military Police field. Eighteen years later, he is nearing the end of his military career and has held a myriad of job titles from Small Boat Captain to Locksmith. During his service, he also completed a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Criminal Justice. Currently he serves in the capacity of a Criminal Investigator at the Naval Weapons Station in Colts Neck, NJ and he has moved 19 times thus far.

Jason enjoys spending quality time with his 10-year-old daughter on the weekends they share together. He feels the Garden State holds many treasures with its unique characteristics such as "The Shore,” diners and quaint towns, and is glad he settled in the area. Cooking, or preferably grilling, up a healthy dish is an interest of his, as well as keeping in shape by long outdoor runs and weightlifting. He is passionate about his gigantic music collection and listens to music more than he watches TV.

Jason has always been active in the community, volunteering his time at local schools and daycare centers, sometimes with his pal McGruff. He is honored to have been given the opportunity to support this worthwhile cause and wishes to thank everyone for their support of the military.

James, 32 - Military (United States Navy)

James was born in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. Soon after graduating high school, James Matthews headed off to Boot Camp at Great Lakes, Illinois in August 1996 to start his adventure in the United States Navy as a Seaman Recruit. Upon graduation of Boot Camp, James Matthews was sent to Yeoman “A” school at Meridian, Mississippi where he graduated as a “Full Time Support” (FTS) Sailor. In 2002, James Matthews earned his Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist (ESWS) pin which made him stand out with a dual warfare qualification. Upon transfer to his next command, he earned his fourth Navy and Marine Corps Achievement medal. James is currently stationed onboard Navy Operational Support Center (NOSC) Earle, New Jersey since November 2006. After reporting to NOSC Earle, he was frocked to E-6 and named the Command Leading Petty Officer in October 2007. James Matthews was announced as the 2008 and 2009 Navy Operational Support Center Earle “Sailor of the Year”. James Matthews is currently pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree with Ashford University. James enjoys going to the beach, playing sports, movies, music and the gym.

Steven, 41 - Chef

Steven was born and raised in East Brunswick, New Jersey. He attended Wagner College and was part of a National Championship Football Team. Steven is easy going, has a great sense of humor and says “Once you are able to laugh at yourself life is a lot more fun”. He is a gentleman and quite romantic. Steven also enjoys golf, movies, the beach, and playing with his nephews.

Gabe, 29 - US Army Intelligence Consultant

Gabe moved to the Jersey Shore two years ago to work for Booz Allen Hamilton as a intelligence consultant to the US Army at Fort Monmouth. Though working for the government is fulfilling enough, he ultimately wishes to put his passion for Literature and the Arts to use as a teacher. Gabe enjoys any new challenges both physical and mental including rock climbing, photography, and music. He has an addiction for good Mexican food (that can be blamed on being an Arizona native) but his foodie and oenophile tendencies don't end there. He has been known to drive an hour or more for good Vietnamese, seafood, or any anything else that he craves. Snowboarding is a favorite outdoor activity of his and just came back from a yearly trip to Park City, Utah. Another obsession is travel, of which he has done extensively both with the Navy and personally. He has been throughout Europe, the West Pacific, and lived in Seattle, DC, Chicago, and Sacramento. Currently his time is spent mainly with his 4 month old Golden Retriever, Maxwell.

Christopher, 43 - President, HR Technology Consulting Firm

Christopher is an accomplished Human Resources technology consultant providing expertise to Global 1000 and prestigious healthcare organizations. He holds both a BS and MS from New Jersey Institute of Technology as well as being certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR). Upon graduating NJIT he spent 8 years at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, living in Jersey City purchasing a condo, “back in the day.”He started consulting in 1998 and has enjoyed continued success to this day. This allowed him to purchase a fun home on the Shark River, three blocks from the boat. So now, he is either close to NYC or close to the boat. He enjoys cooking/entertaining, boating/fishing, tennis as well as all that NYC has to offer.

Paul, 59 - Software Installation Specialist

Paul was born and raised in Brooklyn NY where he got his degree in Math and Computers. He lives in Freehold Township NJ and works for a telecommunications company which provides him the opportunity to travel globally for business. Some of his most recent trips include Russia, Switzerland, Greece and his favorite Hawaii and is looking forward to his first trip to Tokyo in 2 weeks. Paul enjoys a variety of activities; such as, traveling, going to the beach, concerts, fishing, movies, and Broadway shows, and especially walking around New York City. Paul is very proud of his 2 children, Christopher 27 and Michele 24, who are both pharmacists. Paul loves to listen to music which was an integral part of his life growing up; ask him about it! He enjoys everything that life has to offer and believes in doing things NOW. He enjoys finding new and exciting places to visit; this includes sitting down in one of their great eateries and enjoying a nice bottle of wine. So if you enjoy starting your date with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries, you know what you have to do…Bid, Bid, Bid! It’s for a great cause.

Daniel McBride, aka 13 HANDS, 39 – Professor of Yoga, Musician, Health Educator

Daniel, aka 13 HANDS, is a 2006, two time, (first round),Grammy nominated artist, Professor of Yoga at Montclair State University, health educator and certified Domestic Violence / Sexual Assault  advocate through Warren County, NJ.  His experience in the integration of various mind / body techniques, yoga, meditation, sound healing, martial arts, shamanism and healthy lifestyle education spans over 20 years and provides nationally recognized healing programs, stress reduction, personal development and music services through his company 13 HANDS / NOMADYOGA LLC.

Having first hand experience with his own near death, health comeback, journey as a teenager, Daniel is very honored to be involved in and lend support to this event.

Daniel’s ideal date would be someone who is passionate about their health, manages their stress well, loves music, and wouldn’t mind when he wears his Chewbacca outfit.    So if you have a sense of humor, like his overalls, embrace his earthy yoga, mountain man, hippie peace n love vibe, drive the speed limit and if you can be accepting of his part time gig at Chippendales…..then he might just work out for you......
So now the question is, Does he really have a Chewbacca outfit or dance at Chippendales or both?  Guess you’ll have to wait and see ladies.

Bill, 46 – NY Division Manager for K-Sea Transportation

In my profession, I am known as Captain William Sullivan but everyone calls me Bill. I am currently the New York Division Manager for K-Sea Transportation (www.k-sea.com). We specialize in the transportation of petroleum by tug and barge. My hobbies include fine automobiles, boating (go figure), and reading. I also enjoy staying fit by coaching my sons in various sports and trying to keep up with them surfing, skateboarding, biking, etc. (I think I am starting to lose that battle). For an attractive bid, I can offer a tugboat ride with me in New York Harbor from the north shore of Staten Island out to the Statue of Liberty and back at dusk along with the dinner. I am honored to have an opportunity to bring hope and help to children who have been diagnosed with cancer.

Mark, 49

Mark Works for one of the largest healthcare companies in the country as a Sales Manager but his real passion is Karate, where he holds two black belts. He also loves playing golf and going to the beach. His love of fine Red Wines has become sort of a hobby. He loves his NY Jets, and enjoys traveling to wonderful destinations. Mark has decided to participate in this evening's event because he believes NO child should ever get cancer.

Rich, 60 - Architect & Professional Planner

Rich was raised in Fair Haven, graduated from RFHRHS, and currently lives in Little Silver. His ABH architectural, engineering, surveying and planning design group businesses are located in Shrewsbury. Rich participates in numerous local charities and is pleased to be a Bachelor for this event. Rich is retired from a government career and is operating his highly successful professional design firms. He can take time off from work anytime, start the weekend early on Friday and is almost always available via text or cell. He enjoys going out for dinner and dancing too. He would like to see more movies and likes to go a variety of concerts. He keeps most occurrences in perspective and believes he has a very good sense of humor. He likes to walk on the beach, go to the health club or sporting events, and have great conversation. In addition, Rich has raised two boys and is proud to say they are doing very well in college. Both have great grades, play college sports, are quite handsome, and have great personalities.

ANGELO, 56 - Electronic Tech

Angelo, an electronic tech, has varied interests. He enjoys politics and I’m sure will engage in very interesting dialogue about it. Angelo also enjoys the beach and exercising. One more thing that captivates his interest is real estate.

MARC, 39 - Family Physician

A nice guy? Nah, those don't come around too often...or do they? Marc would like to think he’s witty in a dry, sarcastic sort of way. Marc is pretty athletic (competed for the US in gymnastics), adventurous, and willing to try almost anything at least once. He has a strong devotion to friends and family and tends to wear his heart on his sleeve. He is looking for someone he can talk to about anything, from debating whether those things you put on top of ice cream are sprinkles or jimmies, to how we can cure cancer - someone who he wouldn't mind taking his vitamins for; someone who he would want to cook dinner for. Marc would like to have at least a few of these connections that could develop into many, many more. Marc works out about 2x per week and tries to find the time to listen to 'Car Talk' and 'Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me...' on NPR Sunday afternoons. Born and raised in Monmouth County, Marc went to Middletown High School South and went on to attend the University of California at Berkeley for college. Marc attended Albany Medical College and then Tufts in Boston for his residency in Family Medicine. When he isn't saving lives, Marc loves visiting museums (he is a member of MOMA in NY), listening to different kinds of music, shopping, and enjoying the finer things in life. Marc currently resides in Freehold, NJ where he practices family medicine.

Kyle, 27 - Associate VP for Real Estate Brokerage

Kyle is a graduate of Villanova. He used his college degree to land a job with a prestigious family-run brokerage firm in Chatham. He loves to play golf and basketball and enjoys attending sporting events. Kyle is a real family guy and loves to cook and hang out with his friends. Kyle says, “I am here because I am interested in helping this cause and I enjoy meeting new people.”

Kevin, 24 - Real Estate Broker

Kevin attended the University of Dayton in Ohio where he majored in Marketing. He currently works for a Corporate Real Estate Brokerage in Chatham. He summers in Normandy Beach and you can find him enjoying just about any kind of water sport. Kevin also enjoys sunset cruises over a bottle of wine. Look for Kevin on the beach or the Parker House, Patio Bar and Used to Be’s. He keeps fit with winter sports and is in a dodge ball league. Kevin takes advantage of local color – Yankees/Jets games and concerts at PNC.

Herb, 67 - Retired Plumber

Ladies, if you fancy riding a Harley Ultra Classic then this is the guy for you. Herb is a retired plumber who still likes to keep up with his trade part time. Besides his motorcycle, Herb loves the beach in the summer and walking on the Seaside boardwalk year round.

He enjoys his home near the bay and a fun night out that would include dinner and dancing. You can find him at his local gym almost every day unless of course he's hit the road on his Harley.

Aaron, 21 - Personal Trainer

Aaron has been into fitness the majority of his life. He was born and raised in the Carribbean where he developed his love for the water. He has served four years in the Armed Forces as a Police Officer and - once out - pursued personal training. Aaron works as a personal trainer at the Freehold W.O.W. He loves music, working out and outgoing people.

Adam, 36 - Police Officer

Adam is Police Officer in the Boro of Manasquan, NJ. He is lifelong resident of the Jersey Shore. He enjoys fishing, golf, body boarding, exercise, the racetrack and A.C. Adam always tries to Put some free time aside for family and friends. Adam has a strong personality and is outgoing. He also says that he has a witty and sarcastic sense of humor. Adam is participating in this auction to help the cause and to meet new people.

Eric, 36 - Business Owner – Prime Food Market

Eric likes to spend his free time wake boarding and going to A.C. He has been in the restaurant business for most of his life. He is pursuing his entrepreneurial skills and just started his own business. Eric also enjoys boating, golfing, vacations, wine and water sports.

Jeff, 26 - Training Manager

My name is Jeff and I am 26 years old from Point Pleasant , New Jersey. I am Personal Training Manager in East Brunswick. Health and Fitness is my passion and I get gratification in helping others achieve their fitness goals. In my spare time I really enjoy spending time with friends and kicking back down the shore. I enjoy traveling and experiencing new things.
