The ALF Club was started by Emily Braisted, who was being helped by The Ashley Lauren Foundation while she was battling cancer. We are happy to report Emily is now cancer free has found a way to give back so that other children can be helped. She founded The Ashley Lauren Foundation Club at Marlboro High School, Marlboro, NJ. She serves as President of the ALF Club, where her and other Marlboro High School student club members work diligently to raise as much money and awareness as possible for the Foundation, along with spreading happiness and joy to the Foundation’s children.

Emily says, “The Ashley Lauren Foundation helped me significantly over the past few years during my fight with Thyroid cancer. The Club Executive Board organizes multiple fundraisers, such as car washes, bake sales, dances and faculty basketball games!  I am thrilled that the ALF Club has become such a huge success and I could not be more proud of the ALF Club for raising over $10,000 in just two years, I look forward to raising much more!”
